We are actively pursuing Proof-of-Useful-Work (PoUW) approaches to solving real-world problems. In addition to providing decentralized security to blockchains, PoUW, can help power AI, machine learning, rendering, and protein folding, among many other workloads. Our goal is to enable progress across various industries through collaboration.

We work closely with Duke Electric, one of the largest energy providers in the US. Duke recognizes the valuable incentives that blockchain mining & datacenter customers bring to power companies. As a 24/7 consumer with the ability to effectively respond to grid stress and maintain exceptional uptime, we create a rare opportunity for Duke Electric. This not only incentivizes green energy projects but also significantly reduces their ROI so electrical companies may deploy green energy infrastructure faster. We also participate in curtailment programs which greatly protects the grid in times of stress, due to our unique business model we are able to curtail our energy usage in a matter of minutes, so energy can be redirected to where it’s needed most in cases of emergency. By helping to offer a higher stable baseload capacity we help ensure a reliable, efficient, and environmentally friendly supply of electricity, supporting residential needs, business operations, and economic development in the area.
